Her love for writing led her to pursue a career in Journalism. She graduated in 2015 from Rosebank College with a National Diploma in Journalism

‘Right when I stepped into college I knew in my heart that I wanted to own my own publication. Although at that time I was a 19 year old fresh out of high school who hasn’t yet found herself and what she stands for, I simply went where the wind blew’ she says. She admits that it took her about four years to find herself, to know herself and to finally come up with a concept for the magazine she once dreamt of as a 19 year old. Over the years she discovered her love for art and literature and became a huge art fanatic, her love for art gave birth to Art’Logue.

Four years later she ventured into the publication world and founded an online magazine called The Art’Logue, it is a fresh new voice for innovation, creative’s and dreamers aiming to create a platform for all up and coming creative’s who want to leave a mark in our society through creative expression. She defines her writing style as conscious and quizzical the magazine incorporates art and highlights social ills.

She is an avid hard copy novel collector and says To Kill A Mocking Bird was the first ever novel that introduced her to the world of literature, she tells us that her favorite book of all times is ‘I write what I like’ by Steve Bantu Biko. She says if she hadn’t studied Journalism she would have studied Psychology or Literature

She is inspired by young South Africans who take the courage to chase after their dreams and burning desires:  ‘Your dreams are valid and you owe them your courage’ is her personal motto'.
