How many times must we make noise before we all think as one?

I Refuse to dominate any ‘ Males World ‘  said  Boniswa , as  she was describing herself to  me. “ I call myself a welcomer of all things as long it  is good for my soul”, she also went on to say “I am old school too, I am often referred to as non  ambitious  due the fact that I am simple”.  These are the statements made by Boniswa Jennifer Tshabangu,  a P O E T. She  was born at  Phola , Ogies in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

She is inspired by the chaos  in this life, that makes her pen to dance everywhere even through potholes as she writes anything that she greatly feels close to in her heart. Writer of Verse is the manner in which she describe her style of writing with a theme of being a street poet.  The definition of  a street poet is taking what you  are already  aware of and think about it and basically exposing the ignorance to people. These are the perfect words terms to  refer to her work : Raw , Today and Real Experienced life( relatable).

The most wonderful thing about the energy she puts in all that she writes is found in the tea she drinks and the art lovers around her that makes her want to jump to the stage and recite on a microphone.  The mission behind it all is to make the audience fall in love with raw  poetry without beats or music  to distort words so that people can see the power of words.  The need to get recognition as a poet  greatly rely on putting instruments to your work and that mutate  your stature as a poet to a musician just as you look for recognition.  The role of her poems to the audience is to teach and open the eyes of those who are ignorant thus putting beats to it will just ruin all of it.

Imali Ezandleni zomhlupheki ( Money in the hands of the poor) is the poem that clearly define what she is trying to accomplish as a writer of verses. This is  the gateway to what she is striving to communicate to the audience with all her work. This poet  connects the dots that moves from raw to current situation andsignificance (You can view the poems on the links posted on this article).

Here are the Q’s and A’s of this conversation between  (Me) Johnnie geek III & Boniswa Tshabangu :

JG3RD : Why is Boniswa a poet ?
BT : Sometimes we need to kiss ears  and remind one that life is still beautiful that’s why I am a poet (Writer of Verses).

JG3RD : Do you agree with this statement : “ Out of Love, Hate is an Orphan”?. (Do elaborate to your answer).
BT :  I don’t agree, see I have found myself  hating me for loving wrong, now  how  is  it that  I can feel hate because I am actually loving.

JG3RD : What do you think about these words feminists and sexists ?
BT :  These words are designed to let a woman run away from her duties, saying  I am equal to a men, making men to lose their pride, making them seem weak. I think these words were designed to drown us into a system that  I am still trying to figure out.

JG3RD : The power of woman is something we cant deny, so  how can you best describe  it with your own verse ?
BT : Gifted to carry life and honored to teach the same life (child)  how to live and  that my friend is a beautiful power to have.

JG3RD : The only thing that you  want readers to  know about you is that?
BT :  I am nothing without W O R D S.
